For teeth straightening, we offer several options. The cost for ceramic braces (1 arch) is £1,500, and for invisible aligners, the cost is £1,800 for 10 aligners. The total cost may vary depending on the number of aligners required for your treatment.

 

Metal braces and Ceramic Braces:

 

Below, I have provided some details to help you understand the key features and differences between these two types of braces.

 

1. Metal Braces

 

Description: Metal braces are made of high-grade stainless steel and consist of metal brackets connected by a thin wire.

 

Advantages:

 

Highly durable and effective for correcting various orthodontic issues.

 

Generally more affordable than ceramic braces.

 

Appearance: While metal braces are more noticeable, they now come in smaller sizes and can be customized with colorful bands.

 

Maintenance: Easy to clean but requires diligent oral hygiene.

 

2. Ceramic Braces

 

Description: Ceramic braces are similar in size and shape to metal braces but have tooth-colored or clear brackets that blend with your natural teeth.

 

Advantages:

 

Less noticeable than metal braces, offering a more aesthetic option.

 

Equally effective as metal braces for most orthodontic treatments.

 

Appearance: Blends in with teeth, making them a more discreet option for those concerned about aesthetics.

 

Maintenance: Slightly more care is needed to prevent staining of the ceramic brackets.

As discussed, one of the following 2 options can be considered. (depending on individual case)

 

 

 

Option 1: Fixed Appliance  (prices starts from)    £4200 ( -£175 paid toward TP/Scan )

 

 1st Stage Fixed Braces:-  (prices starts from)   £3100

 

2nd Stage Fixed Braces:-  (prices starts from)  £1100

 

 Option 2:  Clear Aligner / Removable Appliance: (prices starts from)    £5800 ( -£175 paid toward TP/Scan )

 

 Option 2 Clear Aligners [1st Stage]:  (prices starts from)  £2250

 

 Option 2 Clear Aligners [2nd Stage]: (prices starts from)  £1800

 

 Option 2 Clear Aligners [3 Stage]: (prices starts from)    £1750

 

 Estimated Duration of Treatment: 10-12 months

 

 Estimated Duration of Treatment: Depends on the option chosen

 

1.       Aligners (only)- Approximately 9-12 months 

 

2.       Fixed Orthodontics- Approximately 12-16 months

NOTE: Any additionally requested finishing aligners are not included and fixed and removable retainers are charged at the end of the treatment based on the fee at the time (current fee £185/ aligner  per arch.)

 

Based on the plan and after discussing with our orthodontic team, removable aligners will give us a decent result but a fixed and removable approach will give us a much better result. 

By the end of the treatment, it is strongly advisable to have fixed or removable retainers (with scan) to prevent relapse which can result in further cost. The fixed and removable retainers are recommended after completion of treatment and costs £450 for both essix and fixed retainers or £250 per arch. 

 

You can choose to have your teeth scanned after completion for the cost of £150 and not have fixed retainers at the end of the treatment which will allow you to order removable retainers as and when needed (if you lose them or break them). Normally scans are kept for at least 10 years.
