Our Practice Plan is designed to support routine preventive dental care by offering a choice of membership options. Depending on the plan selected, members may receive routine dental examinations, hygienist appointments and discounts on eligible private dental treatments.
All benefits, discounts and appointments are subject to the specific plan terms, clinical suitability, appointment availability and the exclusions set out below. A registration fee of £10 is payable when joining the Practice Plan for the first time.
We are currently offering a combined dental examination and hygiene appointment package for £130. This offer applies only where the dental examination and hygienist appointment are booked together. Appointment availability is limited and the offer may be withdrawn or amended at any time.
1. Promotional monthly fee. The promotional fee of £16 per month is available to the first 1,000 patients who join the plan and is offered for a limited time only. Patients who join at this promotional rate will not automatically move to a higher standard monthly fee after a short introductory period. Any future changes to the monthly fee, including inflationary adjustments recommended by the plan or insurance provider, will be communicated in accordance with the applicable plan terms.
2. Discounts on eligible treatment. The plan includes a standard 10% discount on most routine private dental treatments. The practice may also offer an additional discretionary discount of up to 10% to plan members. This additional discount is provided under the practice’s current policy and may be changed or withdrawn in the future.
3. Excluded treatments. Discounts do not apply to dental braces or other teeth-straightening services, dental implants, facial aesthetics, complex restorative treatment, specialist treatment, or any other treatment that the practice confirms is excluded from the plan.
4. First three months after joining. Insurance or plan-related cover does not apply during the first three months after joining. During this initial period, the practice may, as a discretionary goodwill arrangement, offer a discount of up to 20% on eligible treatments. Any dental examination or hygienist appointment provided during the first three months remains payable unless expressly included in the patient’s selected plan.
5. Minimum term and early cancellation. The Practice Plan is intended to run for a minimum term of 12 months unless the applicable plan terms state otherwise. If a patient cancels within the first 12 months after receiving discounted treatment, the practice may recalculate the cost of treatment at the standard private fee rate and request payment of the difference. This is intended to recover discounts provided on the basis of the minimum term and is not intended to operate as a penalty.
6. Payments already made. Where a recalculation is required following early cancellation, any plan payments already received may be taken into account when calculating the final amount payable, so that the outcome is fair and proportionate for both the patient and the practice.
7. Practice changes and cancellation rights. The practice reserves the right to amend or cancel the plan where necessary due to significant changes in clinical, operational, insurance or plan-provider arrangements. Any such change will be handled fairly and communicated to affected patients in advance where reasonably possible.
8. Fair pricing commitment. The practice is committed to transparent and fair pricing. Treatment fees will not be increased for the purpose of cancelling out or undermining an advertised discount.
9. Clinical assessment. All treatment remains subject to an individual clinical assessment. The dentist will advise whether a treatment is clinically appropriate and whether it is included within, excluded from, or discounted under the selected plan.
